Okay, hood pins it is! I've just spent the last 2 hours wrestling with a hood latch that malfunctioned at 60 mph. Luckilly all it cost me was a hood. I've replaced it off of a junked 97 rover, but it is still being buggy and I don't trust it much. Alternative securing methods commence.
