Well, the hood pins are in.. finally... NOT as easy as one would think. It was a long process involving hole saws, a welder and a lot of guessing. In the long run, though, that hood won't be popping up when I'm driving again so it was all worth it!

Okay, hood pins it is! I've just spent the last 2 hours wrestling with a hood latch that malfunctioned at 60 mph. Luckilly all it cost me was a hood. I've replaced it off of a junked 97 rover, but it is still being buggy and I don't trust it much. Alternative securing methods commence.

This is the first one. The beginning of the journey. I've always wanted a Land Rover Discvory and now I have one. Granted, it is going to be a work in project, A rolling adventure in the restoration of an awesome classic 4wd vehicle. Welcome and let's get the party started!
